i love target, seriously! as if their collabos weren't hot enough, the mega-retailer has teamed up with monica botkier to launch a limited-edition handbag collection, botkier for target. no images available just yet, but the handbags will be available at select target stores nationwide and online from july 21st to september 14th! stay tuned for more...

a couple weeks ago, i was introduced to this fabulous line of jewelry at the ultimate designer trunk show. jules, is a fabulous line of jewelry, created by chicago native, julie schwanbeck, that mixes her metal-smithing techniques with gemstones and raw minerals. julie designs and creates every piece of jewelry by hand, so no two pieces are alike. she works with stones, such as: black diamonds, sapphires, amethyst, rubies, and tourmaline. my fav piece is her gold starfish pendant!

jules is definitely a line to watch... check it out!

enamel braclets have been out for awhile now, but i just caught the bug and can't get enough of them! i love the mix of gold and jewel tones and the various sizes... check out some of my current favs...

shop chicago recap

gen art's shop chicago event was great... i was there, working as a "stylist" in acura's roadway to runway section. the photo shoot was a hit... and the line was never-ending. i got a chance to take a very brief run through right as most people were taking their booths down, but i was fortunate enough to come across the five booth... their fabulous, handmade clutches ("for a cause") are made out of authentic bamboo in a small village in bali... $5 from every sale goes to the balmese charitable foundation. check out their story and more products on their website.
