On the twenty-year anniversary of Warhol’s death, kasia kay art projects gallery is pleased to present a group exhibition Warhol: Factory Now, which brings together works by well-known celebrity artists from Warhol's Factory: Ultra Violet, Steve Joester, William John Kennedy, Ivy Nicholson and Anton Perich, as well as a group of artists who have been influenced by Andy Warhol and artist’s pop-oeuvre, including: Kristin Anderson, Sandra Bermudez, Cynthia von Buhler, Amy Cohen Banker, Cameron Crawford and T. R. Ericsson.

fashion week officially began yesterday and the ladies of fashionation will be highlighting our favorites, so definitely stay tuned...

solemates x the united show...

here's a few more pics of us chillin with the crew at the united show- nash and aaron (plain gravy), matt and jordan (free gold watch), gian (homeroom), and bijules. you can expect some impressive fall and spring collections from this group. we can't wait to get them in...love it!

solemates...chicago x fruition {magic recap contd}...

while in vegas...always try to stop by fruition. we love to chat it up with samantha and valerie, they are such sweethearts and strive keep the environment super pleasant, it works! all other stores please take note. anyhow, we hit the spot with the bkc, leslie and omar (city allstars), and miss eboni (plastic island). we had to check out the new jeremy scott x fruition collection - i am a fan. although, i didn't pick up a piece from that collection, i did come off with a dope spinoff of a cycling shirt (no pun intended). you can see more from fruition here...

solemates...chicago x fashionation magic recap part 1...

this here starts the magic recap...b and i took off to vegas earlier this week- while mouse, ashley and our new intern nikki held down solemates... it was our first time leaving our baby, but we left it in good hands. thank you guys for keeping everything tight! you made it easy for us. back to the recap...we started this trip toooooo early in the am, but business needs to be handled. that being said- i had my "new" bberry in hand, while brian was equipped with his spiffy iphone and psp- talk about a team (joke). anyhow, the flights were something else- booked on delta, we flew a sea plane (charter) to atlanta and switched over to korean air, no joke. when was the last time you stepped off a plane outdoors in the states? we were on our way to vegas- ha! altogether the end result was awesome, we met up with our bkc fam- ouigi, gabe, and ness- and the trip began... more to come.
